Pottery with a Purpose

She launched her business, Dawn Melrose Pottery, in the beginning of 2016 and sells her work at both local stores and craft fairs. She enjoys creating pieces that make people smile and often adds non-traditional elements to her work to catch people by surprise.
Her mission? To add beauty to everyday life

Education and Hard Work
Before launching her business, Dawn spent 10 years learning the art of ceramics. She took lessons at a private studio for a while, and then in 2013, she decided to enroll in the ceramic program at the local community college. While there, she not only learned more about ceramics, but she also took classes on business and marketing. She attributes her success to education and believes that anyone can learn how to be a creator with the proper education.
